Township's Master Plan
The comprehensive master plan, or Master Plan, is the broad policy statement that guides a municipality's future development. It is the policy umbrella under which reside the official map, the capital improvement program, the zoning ordinance, and the subdivision and site plan ordinances. The Master Plan may include a wide array of elements, such as a land use plan, housing element, circulation element, utility service plan, community facilities plan, recreation plan, conservation plan, economic plan and an historic preservation element. The Master Plan is adopted by the Planning Board.
The Township of Edison Master Plan was adopted in 2003. This document has several components and maps. Below you will find the Edison Master Plan and the related maps.
